This is not just farm animal, although it does have highland cattle

Along each walk there is a variety of wildlife to see and some, such
as the barn owls, to meet around the farm. More information can be

Gruesome
|
Constantly changing the York Dungeon is a very good attraction.
Gory torture chambers and ghoulish ghostly images cleverly done
with excellent personal translations by appropriately dressed guides
in some sections as you journey through the dungeon.

Ponies to ride, animals to feed, a massive sand pit, loads of picnic
tables, an adventure park with a hillside slide to fit three sitting
side-by-side and a host of other things. This looks a fun packed day.

Eight indoor rinks and two outdoor crown greens. I can't figure out
how this attraction keeps going - but the brochure says "Free
Entrance, Free Coaching, Free Equipment Hire". Hey, it must be
worth a visit. They also have a bar that serves meals (I think you
have to pay for these) and some pool tables. For more information

Theme Park
|
Rides are being updated annually, there is always something new
and more daring. It is expensive to get in but it is all free once you
are inside. Food is also quite expensive so a packed lunch would be
advisable. I do not know how good the zoo is but my son returns to
the theme park regularly. |

Each of these has a good sandy beach. Scarborough also has a
funfair and miles of sea-front arcades. Parking can be difficult at
Scarborough but the train and bus service is good. Previous guests
have been to Filey and Bridlington and recommend a visit to both. |
